St. Catherine students in grades 2-8 participate in the Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) assessment in the fall and spring of every year. This is an Archdiocesan wide assessment that measures students' skills and growth in reading, language, and math. MAP is a computer adaptive test, which means every student gets a unique set of test questions based on responses to previous questions. The test is not timed and it adjusts the complexity and level of questions based on the students' particular skill level. Teachers analyze the reporting data to identify students' areas of strengths and challenges in order to inform and plan relevant classroom instruction. The links below provide additional information on the MAP Assessment.
