New students may be screened by our Learning Specialist to assess learning needs. With registration, new students will need to include copies of their: Birth Certificate, Baptismal Certificate, First Reconciliation and First Eucharist Certificate (if applicable), verification of immunizations, report card (last semester/trimester – for students entering grades 1-8), and most current standardized test results.
Because St. Catherine School relies heavily on parent volunteers and supplemental income to keep tuition affordable, each K-8 family must commit to 40 hours of volunteer work for the school and/or parish (single parent families contribute 20 hours). Five of these hours must be completed in connection with the school auction. In addition, each family contributes a $200 item to the school auction, participates in the school Annual Fund Drive, and must purchase $1,000 in Scrip. Preschool families are encouraged to become active in the school and to contribute a $100 item to the school auction. Many volunteer opportunities exist and all K-8 families are asked to complete a Service Hour Agreement as part of the registration process. Volunteer opportunities help build a sense of community at St. Catherine School and we appreciate your participation.
